Having spent most of the month with my feet up after smashing up my big toe. Time soon went by for the opening race of the F1 season.

What a race and an opening. We must be in for such excitment over the forth coming months. Brawn Gp 1 and 2 Qual with an amazing 1, 2 finish. How lucky was Hammy to get 3rd and Ferrari not scoring a single point. Who really is at the top now?? That is the question ................................................................................................................................................

Hockey (Away): Skegness 0 - City of Peterborough 1

Although we lost today. We have come away feeling like we got a results. An improvement on last time we met. Had a good game. Got M.O.M

10K

Finally I have set my 10K rowing time. 47:44 which I'm pretty please about! I'll have to wait and see where that puts me this month. What a challenge. Don't plan on doing that one again!

New Years Resolutions.

Really need to think of more things. Suppose I could add to this at a later date.

Cinema Trip: 'YES MAN'

Really enjoyed it. Recommend it, if you want to see a funny film that will uplift you and make you think 'Yes' can I do more.

A day on the ski slopes

Its been far too long!

 

About 5 years ago was the last I managed to get myself on snow. Having loved skiing and getting a bug of it many moons ago, I have found it difficult to find someone to go with (and also the expense of it). Today I found myself at x-scape in Leeds. It was F.A.B.

Here are some of the pictures of myself and my sister. Belle did really well having not skied ever before. She was parallel turning in under 2 hours and going from the top. (Don't want to mention the amount of times she fell over - not many really for a novice. The funniest things was having to wait for her as she fell over on the button lift). But all in all she was FAB for a first timer. Well Done.

Gliding: Winch launch

Me inside the glider ready to launch.

Dad and the two seater glider. The weather was dry but quite windy. We launched off the Winch and it was really fast. I had a go at flying it but there wasn't any lift. Total flight time = 9 minutes!

Archery:!!

Had my first go at Archery. Got a Grade 2. (5 is the best). Not to bad for a first timer. However I will be sticking to the day job.
